Filthy 50

This race was a little different because Kevin didn't get to actually race it. He was signed up and ready. But he had to skip it due to a surgery he had a week prior. But we showed up and hung out with the Big Wheel Coaching team. It was great to meet them all. The coaches Brian & Joy really have put together a rad collection of humans that put in work out there on the trails. It's a pleasure to be apart of their crew!

I will share a bit about the environment though while you're here. The food options were great! They had a coffee booth and the coffee was delicious. She server pastries and other goodies too but let's be real I was there for the caffeine. The Surf Taco Company was there too and they have the best tacos! Everyone in our family loves the food they serve, so any time they are at a race I know we will be lined up to grab some food from them too!

Race was pretty quick but while everyone was out and about kicking butt my kids doggy-sat Slashers dog. Which was so cute because they were full entertaining each other. The dog was stoked to be hanging out all day and the boys finally got to have a dog to play with! Win win for all parties. You will see photos of that below.

Kids race was fun as always. I love that they include that in the races it's the best. The only thing was IF Kevin was racing he would have missed the kiddo race because he would have been out there shredding. So I am grateful he was there to enjoy it this time around. It was cute, especially the little girl dressed as a butterfly. Her wings blew in the wind as she rode and it was awesome!
